Privacy Policy

HireMe CRM ("we," "our," or "the Service") is a personal outreach and hiring pipeline tool, including a web application (app.hire-me-crm.com) and a companion browser extension. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Who this applies to

This policy applies to anyone who creates an account on HireMe CRM, uses the HireMe CRM browser extension, or otherwise interacts with the Service.

2. Information we collect

Account information

When you sign up, we collect your email address and password (handled securely via our authentication provider, Supabase Auth). We do not store your password in plain text.

Lead and pipeline data

When you use HireMe CRM, you may add or import information about people you are tracking for outreach purposes, including:

  • Name
  • Email address (if provided)
  • LinkedIn profile URL
  • Role/title
  • Notes you write
  • Status and task information you create (e.g. follow-up dates, pipeline stage)

Data collected via the browser extension

If you install the HireMe CRM browser extension, it can read publicly visible information from LinkedIn profile pages you actively visit and choose to save (such as name, headline/role, and profile URL). This information is sent directly to your HireMe CRM account when you choose to add a lead — the extension does not collect data automatically or in the background, and does not track your browsing beyond the page you are actively saving.

Automatically collected information

We may collect limited technical information (such as IP address and browser type) as part of normal web server operation, for security and abuse-prevention purposes.

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand aggregate visitor traffic (e.g. page views, referring pages, device/browser type, approximate location) and to measure page load performance. These tools are designed to operate without setting tracking cookies and do not identify you individually.

3. How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

  • Provide and operate the Service (store and display your leads, tasks, and pipeline)
  • Authenticate you and secure your account
  • Show you in-app task/reminder notifications within the Service
  • Maintain and improve the Service

We do not sell your personal information or the information of the leads you track. We do not share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored using Supabase (PostgreSQL database with row-level security), hosted on infrastructure provided by Supabase and Vercel. Row-level security policies ensure your data is only accessible to your own account.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us (see Section 8).

6. Third-party services

HireMe CRM relies on the following third-party infrastructure providers to operate:

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting
  • Vercel — application hosting, analytics, and performance monitoring (Vercel Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights)

These providers may process data on our behalf as part of delivering the Service, under their own privacy and security terms.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information in Section 8.
